After a shipwreck, you wake up on a strange island with no clear way home. That is where Chunga Changa Runaway begins. Palm trees, abandoned places, strange objects, and odd structures make the island look almost playful at first. Then you meet Chunga Changa.
He looks more funny than frightening, but you cannot always tell what he is going to do. The game mixes exploration, puzzles, comedy, and horror, so a silly moment can quickly turn into a problem. You need to search the island, collect useful items, figure out what they are for, and slowly work out how to escape.

Escape Is a Process, Not a Single Goal
The raft in Chunga Changa Runaway is your ticket off the island, but there’s some work to do first. Look around for clues, figure out the puzzles, and track down the blueprints before you can leave. Chunga Changa also gets involved along the way. Don't rush things, you'll have plenty to figure out before you can leave. And since the island has multiple endings, what you do along the way can decide how it all ends.
Three Questions Before Every Move
1. Is this food safe to eat?
Not everything you find should be eaten or used immediately. The local food can make you sick, so think before trying it.
2. What can this item be used for?
Don't ignore random items you find around the island. An item might not seem important at first, but it could come in handy later.
3. Should I move closer or hide?
If Chunga Changa starts coming after you, don't stick around. Back off, find somewhere safe, and wait until it's clear before moving again.
The island may look ridiculous, but Chunga Changa Runaway keeps you guessing until you find your way home.
